In a spectacular showcase of skill and strategy, Bubba Wallace and Austin Cindric emerged victorious in the 2025 Daytona Duels, setting an electrifying tone for the upcoming Daytona 500.
Bubba Wallace, driving for 23XI Racing, clinched the win in the first duel, showcasing exceptional driving prowess. He finished ahead of William Byron of Hendrick Motorsports and Ty Dillon of Kaulig Racing, who secured second and third places respectively. Ross Chastain and Tyler Reddick rounded out the top five positions.
Austin Cindric of Team Penske triumphed in the second duel, narrowly edging out Erik Jones from Legacy Motor Club. Chris Buescher, Denny Hamlin, and Joey Logano completed the top five finishers in this race.
The duels also determined the final lineup for the Daytona 500. Justin Allgaier and Corey LaJoie secured their spots in the main event through their performances in the duels. Additionally, Helio Castroneves, a four-time Indianapolis 500 winner, was granted a special provisional entry, allowing him to compete in the Daytona 500.
